ESS Container Overview

An ESS container is a large-scale energy storage system that integrates batteries, a power conversion system (PCS), a battery management system (BMS), and cooling and fire protection systems into a single container.
By storing electricity and supplying it when needed to address the imbalance between power generation and consumption, it contributes to grid stability, improved energy efficiency, and increased utilization of renewable energy.
Evgreentek’s ESS container solution stores surplus electricity generated from renewable sources such as solar and wind, and supplies it during peak demand periods, enabling energy cost savings and reliable power supply.

System Configuration

The ESS container system consists of the following key components.

01
Battery System

Lithium-ion batteries are used to store large amounts of energy, and the system is designed in a rack configuration to enable efficient energy management.

02
Power Conversion System

Performs bidirectional power conversion between DC and AC, enabling battery charging and discharging.

03
Battery Management System

Monitors and controls the voltage, current, and temperature of each battery cell in real time to ensure safe and efficient battery operation.

04
Energy Management System

Centrally manages the operation of the entire ESS system, optimizing charging and discharging according to power demand and supply.

05
HVAC and Fire Protection Systems

Maintains a stable operating environment through HVAC systems that regulate the internal temperature of the container, along with fire detection and suppression systems.

06
PV + ESS Hybrid Container

Our PV + ESS Hybrid Container employs a “Plug & Play” approach to deliver a solution that improves conversion efficiency by 3–7% compared to existing conversion systems.
